Your artistic style is what makes your work feel like you, it's essentially what distinguishes you from other artists and I'm sure you have noticed that throughout history all the greatest artists had styles that were distinct and unique. This course is designed for you to discover your personal creativity, unique painting style, and what sets you apart from everyone else, and bring you through the process to complete finished painting.
Submit up to three photographs of any kind (florals, landscapes etc.) you will receive compositional ideas and possible approach for the best one, then go back to your studio to paint. After one week submit your painting with questions, for another video review and problem solving. Return to your studio to complete your painting. For those of you that are super speedy, you can continue to paint one of the other reviewed compositions until the course ends.

Birgit O’Connor, is a signature member of NWWS, CWA, LWS and is an award winning artist, judge, juror and author of the top-selling North Light books “ Watercolor in Motion” (which has also been translated into Hebrew and Chinese), "Paint Watercolor Flowers" and “Watercolor Essentials” along with being included in three other titles. Known for her original paintings and inspirational teaching style. Currently in 2019, she is expanding into portraits and with this painting style, many have been included into international shows. Along with her traveling schedule, Birgit has developed very successful online courses that allow her to reach students from around the world.
