If ever you have struggled with trying to get looser with your watercolor painting, then this online painting course is for you.
When it comes to this painting style as many of you have found, it's not always as easy as it looks. I'll share a secret with you, much of it has to do with the drawing, materials you're using and the real magic happens in the brushstroke.
Since this looser painting style is rather subjective to the artist, you will find that this course is a little different than many of my others, the live meetings will be geared more towards demonstrations rather than painting reviews. I still highly suggest that you still post what you've done and we can still look at them as a group, but I think you will learn more from the demonstrations and by doing as much painting as possible.
As a student you will have access to a private FB reference photo group library that is just for my online students. Here you will find a wealth of royalty free images that you can choose from for future paintings.

Interactive course runs in sessions with live interactive meetings - join a community of students from around the world meetings begin a week or two after the session start date this gives you time to get acquainted with the course format and get started.

Birgit O’Connor, is a signature member of CWA-M, LWS-M, NWWS, and is an award winning artist, judge, juror and author of the top-selling North Light books “ Watercolor in Motion”"Paint Watercolor Flowers" and “Watercolor Essentials” along with being included in three other titles. Known for her original paintings and inspirational teaching style. In 2019, she is expanded into portraits which have been well received into international shows. Currently Birgit has reduced here busy traveling schedule so she can continue to develop and build her online courses. She has been included in over 60 national and international publications, the New York Times, SF Gate,Artist Magazine and Watercolor Artist Magazine INK in New Mexico, in the United States, Dobry Zank, (publication in Poland) "L'Art de l'Aquarelle in France. Her memberships include Cambridge Who’s Who, Who's who in America and Who's who in American woman.
