Expressive Waterfalls

You can easily work within your budget and use many of the materials you have on hand.

Brushes

• # 30 Natural
• #8, 14, 20, #14 Sable/Synthetic, blend
• Any Wash Mottler
• Sword brush (optional)
• Torn bits of 300 lb paper
  

Paper

• 140 lb CP or (HP paper) 
• Student grades or the back of old paintings can work beautifully too.
  

Transparent watercolor

You can use many of the colors you already have on hand, or to keep the cost down, student paint sets work well too. Below is the list of colors I will be using.

• Hansa yellow medium
• Yellow Ochre
• Ultramarine or French Ultramarine Blue
• Indigo
• Burnt Sienna
• Permanent Sap Green
• Perylene Green
• Green Apatite
  

Other materials

• 1-gallon plastic rinse bucket
• Masking fluid or drawing gum
• Large shallow well, covered plastic pallet or white plate or butcher tray
• Paper towels
• Old terry cloth
• Pencil (2HB is fine)
• Small mist spray bottle
• Magic Eraser (Mr. Clean Eraser original)
• Hair dryer (optional)
