What Students say

"Painting without a brush definitely loosened me up. Thank you for the guidance. It was fun." Barbara McCurdy

"Having studied with Birgit for 2 years, I am still awed by her passion for watercolor, her willingness to experiment, and her dedication to meeting the needs of her students. I have enjoyed every minute spent watching her paint. Such painless learning! I am excited about this new class for 3 main reasons: Birgit is taking us deep into her creative process; we get to play with paint and water without “investment” in the outcomes" Sue Warnock

"What a privilege to be in this class! I LOVE your demos! It is SO helpful to watch you mix the paint, how much water you used, how to get the water onto the palette. "Thanks to you! Just to be able to use the photo as a reference and put paint on the paper that sort of resembles the photo, is something I have never ever done before! THANK YOU!" Agnes NM

"This is my third course with Birgit because once you discover the best instructor from whom you learn the most - well you stick with her! Tina Mewhinney TX

"Birgit is an excellent instructor who is organized, informative and thorough in her presentations. Also she is very supportive and helpful in her comments on the painting submissions. I felt strongly that she really wanted me to learn and improve and produce a painting that would make me feel that I had achieved a result that would be worthwhile. I would take another class from her in a heartbeat." Sincerely, Trish Kuncewicz

" I cannot thank you enough for teaching. I hope there is some way to continue this format. it is very fun". Bettina
