Desert Flowers & Landscape February 21

A One-Day Live Watercolor Workshop
In this workshop, we’ll explore how desert flowers and their surrounding landscape can work together in a single, expressive watercolor painting.
Rather than isolating florals, you’ll learn how to integrate flowers, land, light, and atmosphere—allowing water, timing, and flow to guide the painting naturally. The focus is on creating harmony between soft floral shapes and open desert space, using watercolor in a relaxed, intuitive way.
This workshop emphasizes process over perfection. You’ll learn how to loosen up, simplify, and let water carry color to create paintings that feel luminous, grounded, and connected to place.
What to Expect
During this workshop, you’ll be guided step by step through creating a desert flower and landscape painting. By the end of our time together, you’ll have a painting that is nearly complete, with strong structure, unified color, and a clear sense of light and atmosphere.
From there, you can choose to call the painting done, or continue developing it. I’ll show you how to add depth and refinement thoughtfully—without overworking—so you can confidently take the painting further on your own.
You’ll leave with both a finished piece and a clear understanding of how to move forward, at whatever pace feels right for you.
