Upcoming Watercolor Workshop: July 19
Paint a Loose and Easy Lighthouse
Imagine standing on a rocky shore, the ocean breeze in your hair, and salty mist brushing your cheeks. In this relaxing and inspiring watercolor workshop, we’ll explore how to paint a lighthouse scene that captures not just the structure, but also the feeling of being there.
Using expressive, loose techniques, you'll learn how to simplify complex shapes, suggest details without overworking, and bring movement and mood into your painting. Whether you're a beginner or just want to loosen up your style, this class will help you trust the process, paint freely, and create something uniquely yours.
What You’ll Learn:
- How to sketch and simplify a lighthouse and rocky shoreline
- Techniques for creating atmosphere with washes and texture
- Ways to use color, light, and suggestion to tell a story
Join us and discover how fun and freeing watercolor can be—no perfection needed, just a willingness to explore and play!
